We make it our business to talk to people across Southampton’s SO14 to SO19.
New for 2022:'Is This Street Made for Me', a community research and film project taking place between January and December 2022.
Listen to Claudia's interview discussing the project on BBC Radio Solent here
The project aims to explore how inclusive are our streets and to capture the stories embedded in the culture of Southampton’s streets and neighbourhoods, through films made from the perspective of residents with different social and mobility needs, to reflect the diversity of needs in our city.
We are calling on residents of all ages and walks of life to join us on this project to explore together what would it take to make our streets healthy and inclusive environments for all?
Could you share with us the likes and dislikes of your regular journeys to shops, schools, work, and favourite places? Have been involved in any action to change something on your street: from organising a street party to getting those potholes fixed, from having traffic calming measures or a new zebra crossing installed, to safer parking facilities for all types of vehicles, or street closures around school drop off and pick up time?
