2020: In 2019 over 30.000 Southampton residents drank alcohol at unhealthy levels, and over 17000 used regularly illicit drugs, according to Southampton's City Council Alcohol and Drugs Strategy documents. While many types of statutory services are funded to support recovery from drugs and alcohol misuse, professional support for families is provided by just one local charity, set up 25 years ago. This is a 7min film focusing on the work of local charity Parent Support Link.
